Patrick Feller

Feller Gruppe Zurich is an owner-managed investment holding company that invests its own capital in medium-sized private and listed businesses. We pursue an entrepreneurial, industrial approach in both cases, focusing on companies with a strong position in niche markets, good products and excellent management teams. Our capital structure puts us in a position to keep our holdings for a very long time without any sale consideration.

PRIVATE EQUITY

Reasons for private investment transactions often include succession plans and carve-outs. We then develop our portfolio companies over the long term by improving cash flows and with potential add-on acquisitions. Our capital structure allows us to cater to the individual needs and requirements of the seller and company. The company’s turnover should be 5 to 30 million euros with an EBIT of minimum 1.5 million euros.

Overview of private transaction criteria:

_ Occasion
Succession plans, carve-outs and other changes in ownership structure.

_ Focus
Established companies – no start-ups or early-stage companies.

_ Industry
Industrial technologies, consumer goods and services (including healthcare services).

_ Size
Turnover approx. 5 to 30 million euros with an EBIT of minimum 1.5 million euros.

We have many years of both operational and transactional experience. We focus our investments mainly in industrial technologies, consumer goods and services (including healthcare services).

We work as a close, trusted partner to entrepreneurs and/or management. This is essential to maintain continuity, organise the transition and generate growth as a result.

PUBLIC EQUITY

Our entrepreneurial approach is also reflected in our public equity activities. Strong industrial expertise, intensive analyses and research help us understand and evaluate market and competitive dynamics (especially entry barriers) as well as future profit potential for listed companies. We use this as a basis to make our long-term investment decisions.

We consistently make investments in economically sound companies that are temporarily unloved by capital markets.
